Privacy Policy
1. Your text never leaves your browser
Text you paste into the detector is analyzed locally on your device by a model downloaded to your browser. It is not uploaded, stored, logged, or seen by us or anyone else. Closing or reloading the page discards it completely.
2. What we do collect
- Usage analytics (GA4): we record anonymous page views and detector events (e.g. that a scan happened and its score range). We do not send your text or any derived content to analytics.
- Model cache: the detection model (~120 MB) is cached in your browser after your first visit so later visits load instantly. You can clear it any time via your browser's site-data settings.
3. Affiliate links
Some results may include links to third-party tools (such as text humanizers). These are
affiliate links: if you click and purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Clicking such a link takes you to the partner's site, whose own privacy policy applies. Links
are marked with rel="sponsored".
4. Third parties
We self-host the detection model (textverdict.pages.dev). The only third-party scripts are Google Analytics (if enabled) and the partner sites you choose to visit via affiliate links. We do not run ads networks that profile you across sites.
